You have problems with a supervisor?

  • Equal Opportunities Office

At our university, the ratio of female stundents to male students overall in balance—for both the numbers of students and the numbers of degrees. Taking a look at the different study programmes, one finds ratios that are lean heavily towards one side. This is especially apparent in mathematics, physics and computer science.

Promoting equal opportunities in your studies implies

    • equal support for student success through assistance in areas where one gender is significantly underrepresented,
    • encouragement of talented students to consider careers in science and research at university, especially in fields in which women are still underrepresented, and
    • standing up to any kind of sexualized discrimination, sexual harassment and violence during studies and teaching.

The equal opportunity office represents each field. University-wide information and people to contact can be found here.
