The Faculty of Physics and Astronomy offers its students the opportunity to play the piano at the university. This offer is primarily aimed at students who were unable to bring their instruments to Jena but still want to continue making music.
To use the piano, there is a calendar in which one must sign up.

You will find the piano after registration at Helmholtzweg 4 in Room 101.
Access to the room is granted through the Thoska. Initially, it needs to be held against the corresponding display at the entrance of the building to be activated. Afterward, Room 101 can also be opened with it.
To use the piano, plug in the power cable and use the corresponding buttons to turn it on. When leaving the room, make sure the piano is turned off, and the power plug is removed.
