The lecture will be held in English. Language level B2 is recommended.

Intercultural relations and cross-cultural exchanges in today’s working environment are complex. However complex, diversity is an asset and provides a competitive advantage in the corporate world. This workshop seeks to provide opportunities to reflect on this complexity, while developing your ability to make distinctions and develop higher degrees of intercultural sensitivity. A must-have to advance your career!

 

Speakers:

Covadonga González Pujol | freelance trainer

  • Covadonga González Pujol is a Spanish native who came from Madrid to study in Thuringia. After working for the regional state development agency in Erfurt, where she coached international students and young professionals to master their career entries in Germany, she moved to Berlin for a new job opportunity at an international university.

Joanna Pawlaczek | intercultural trainer and mediator

  • Joanna Pawlaczek has held different positions in different companies in Germany revolving around intercultural organizational development. In this capacity, she consults and supports companies and organizations in change processes towards more diversity. She completed Master degrees in Intercultural Human Resources Development and Communication Management at Friedrich Schiller University of Jena.

 

If you want to participate, please register by 6 May 2020. Both international and German students of all subjects are welcome to join the workshop. The number of participants is limited to 15.
